How to update the site
  1. Record a verification visit
    Even Harvest → Verifications → Add New: the farm, the date, the paid rate found, pass or shortfall, one line. Then open the farm and set "Paid per day" and "Last verified" to match → Update. The ledger, the home cards and the numbers follow.
  2. Change a farm's floor or benchmark
    Even Harvest → Farms → the farm → paid per day, benchmark (a sample on this demonstration), floor date → Update. The gap, the bar and the stale flag are computed, never typed.
  3. Add a partner farm
    Even Harvest → Farms → Add New: name, country, crop, workers on record, the rates, the floor date, a photo. It appears on the ledger at once and on Home if its floor is among the five lowest.
  4. Move a brand from pledged to paying
    Even Harvest → Brands → the brand → status (pledged, verified, paying), premium, since → Update. Home and Get involved show the new status.
  5. Report a number
    Even Harvest → Numbers → Add New: the number as shown, a short label for the chips, and the sentence that says how it was counted. No method, no number.
  6. Publish a new Form 990
    Media → Add New and upload the PDF. Then Even Harvest → Financial documents → Add New, choose the file, the fiscal year and the kind, and Publish. The three newest 990s are listed by themselves.
  7. Send year-end giving statements
    Even Harvest → Year-end statements → look at donors marked Fix or Check, add checks and stock under "Gifts entered by hand", preview a statement, then Send. In this demonstration nothing is sent.
